All Ages Treatment
Early Treatment
There are some conditions that are much easier to treat if they're caught at an early age, when a child's natural growth processes are going full speed ahead. The AAO recommends children get an orthodontic consult at age 7. Catching potential problems early on can save a lengthier, more complicated, and more expensive treatment later on! If no treatment is recommended during the first consult, we will continue to monitor your child on a regular basis while the jaws are still growing and the adult teeth are still developing.
Adolescent Treatment
Most adolescent patients start their orthodontic treatment around at approximately 12 years old and the average length of treatment is between 18-24 months. Your child will be seen every 6-8 weeks, and we do our very best to accommodate busy schedules! After orthodontic treatment is over, the retention period begins. This means wearing a retainer for life to maintain the beautiful new smile we’ve worked together to create.
Adult Treatment
With the development of Clear Aligners, we are seeing more and more adults seek orthodontic treatment. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, so there's no such thing as being too old for orthodontic treatment. Many adults realize that investing in a new smile can have significant benefits, not only with building self-confidence but also maintaining the health of their teeth.
